She started her journey by joining a group based programme and had already lost over 2 stone before deciding to use weight loss medication, Saxenda (in the same family of drugs as Wegovy/Oxempic). We discuss her experience including: The importance of the support of other members of the group How losing weight is just one of the many benefits she has experienced as a result of the programme Her views on weight loss medication; that it is just one tool in the toolbox and not a miracle cure How she is using her experience to support others around her to make positive changes, both in the MoreLife group and in her wider social circle.
