In light of this, we bring you yet another episode of our Man Up Series featuring Bryce Wylde, Co-Founder of The DNA Company, and Justin Harris, In-house Clinician at the DNA Company.
Today’s episode is all about managing male hormones. More often than not, we hear about athletes or individuals who intake testosterone without diving into the knowledge of how their bodies might react to these additional hormones. Some take it with hopes of quickly gaining muscle, some take it upon the belief that it will enhance the way they live - but what do these hormones actually do to our bodies?
Every individual is different, and there are considerations that must be done before hopping onto the promised generalizations that we witness online. With that, Bryce and Justin dive into the hormones that our bodies produce - not just testosterone but how they all react with one another with your genetic makeup in mind. They also present some real-life studies that have been involved in situations that revolve around hormones based on internal and external factors.
