“It is good to have some older women showing up and skating and showing that it is possible for all ages.”
Jane Falconer-White is a 49 year old mum who took up skateboarding just before lockdown, and practiced throughout lockdown in her garage. She specialises in freestyle skating and was the only woman from the UK to compete in the European Freestyle Championships 2023. She has documented her journey on instagram @skatejanefw.
