When we experience trauma, and all that follows, our bodies respond in ways that can feel overwhelming and difficult to be with. Tools that comfort and soothe our nervous systems are helpful for these times, and help us grow our capacities and resilience in facing the harder parts of life. Discovering which tools work best with your body and your current thought patterns helps you set yourself up for success.

In today's episode we talk about our own experiences during traumatic events, the skills we grew to support ourselves during and after, and ways you can incorporate simple tools into your life to add some comfort when big feelings become overwhelming.⁠
