How God used one woman's pain to become a voice of comfort and hope for many.
After experiencing the loss of her second child, Angel, through a miscarriage, May quickly realized that her bereavement leave policy did not apply to miscarriage. God helped her find purpose through that pain to help advocate for changes that would bring awareness to this very important topic in hopes to provide more support for grieving moms. She created a petition on change.org called “Bereavement time due to pregnancy loss” which now has 48,000 signatures. Through the love of God, it is her mission to help others find hope and healing.
Last week, May talked about the difficulties of returning to work in the midst of grieving the loss of her daughter. This week, we pick up where we left off as we hear about some of the comforts God gave her during this time and how she turned her pain into purpose.
