Hello VAPA Community. This is Dr. Trimis. Monday is our first late-start day. Students should arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 with Period 1 beginning at 9:30 am. We will have a late-start almost every Monday of the year.

Hola, comunidad de VAPA. Este es el Dr. Trimis. El lunes es nuestro primer día de inicio tardío. Los estudiantes deben llegar entre las ocho y media (8:30) y las nueve y media de la mañana (9:30) y el período uno (1) comienza a las nueve y media de la mañana (9:30 a. M.).

The fastest and best way to be cleared to enter school is by using the Daily Pass. LAUSD tests are automatically entered and tests from non-LAUSD sites need to be uploaded. Go to www.dailypass.lausd.net

Breakfast (for the next day) and supper will be given to all students after school each day. Snacks will be available each morning and hot lunch will be given to all students every day.

Please note that we are following all of the LAUSD and CDC guidelines in regards to COVID19 prevention and protocols including mask wearing, an upgraded filtration system, and cleaning of the facility including classrooms.

I encourage all of our teachers, staff, and students who are eligible to be vaccinated to do so. More information is on our website.

Looking forward, Back to School Night and the Aloha Assembly is on September 2 and both will be virtual events this year. The Memorial Day Weekend is September 3-7.
