But her journey took an unexpected turn when her mother, Donna Spivey, passed away in April 2022.

This tragic event prompted Brittany to embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. The act of opening up and sharing her personal experience with the world allowed her to connect with others who were going through similar struggles, ultimately inspiring her new mission to help people find their voices during the most difficult seasons of their lives.
