Jocelyn Vaughn is living proof that there is life beyond where you come from. This East Atlanta native developed a passion to make resources more accessible to the community early on. Whether expanding programs or helping the public connect with existing organizations and services, she has spent more than a decade doing just that. As a survivor of trauma, she strives to make an impact within her community as a servant leader. Her hope is to eradicate shame and stigma surrounding health matters like HIV, mental health and sexual abuse and to empower others to lead the discussion about risk reduction, prevention, treatment but most importantly - healing. When she is not working hard in the name of advocacy and prevention, she enjoys spending time reading and writing, as she is soon to be a published author.

Jocelyn is an alum of the “Unsinkable” Albany State University and later served as an University System of Georgia Ambassador at the Autonomous University of Yucatán in Mexico.
