This one is not for the kids.
I’m sure everyone knows atleast one person who has struggled with some form of an addiction in their life. It isn’t an easy road to navigate, and it’s easy to assume there is no solution. This week we spoke about patterns of dependence, the psychiatric & disease models of addiction, Tolerance & withdrawal. Thankfully, Michael Mackenzie graced us with his presence this week, and don’t get us wrong, we aren’t med students. We did not solve the tragedy of addiction, and you should NOT take this episode as a substitute for real medical advice. The goal of this episode was for us to learn a little more about the faces of addiction, and put some sympathy out there for our brothers & sisters going through it right now. We hope you’re looking forward to the second half of season 2! Enjoy this week's episode of TFITRPC!

The Overarching goal of Season 2 is to identify, discuss and breakdown philosophical & psychological frameworks that may help us on our journey to becoming a good person. At TFITRPC we understand that we don't have all of the answers, but through our discussions we hope to come closer to some semblance of the truth.
