The biggest fear of parents especially, mothers is the fear that their kids won’t need them anymore one day. Which to tell honestly, I didn’t understand. I used to think, they grew us up, educated us to be independent and be responsible. But as it seems, the thought of your kid needing you in their life, or more appropriately in their day to day life, gives them an existential reassurance, I guess? Maybe it’s something we won’t understand till we are a mother or a parent to a child.
