Sleep is one of those underrated habits that I feel most people know is important but they don’t realize how important it truly is in your health and wellness journey. On this episode I want to make it clear why you need to prioritize sleep and how to optimize your sleep so you can reap all the benefits from it. Let’s dive in.

Sleep is important and what I want you to understand is while you may not be entirely aware of all the hormones and processes that happen autonomously within your body every day, depriving your body of enough quality sleep will have a negative impact on these processes which in turn will make you feel - to say it bluntly - like sh*t.

And I want to focus on a key word I just said there. I said you need enough QUALITY sleep. I could tell you that you need 7-8+ hours of sleep each night and end this podcast episode right there, but the quality of your sleep is just as essential, and what I’m going to share with you today is how you can improve your overall sleep hygiene and get that quality sleep your body needs.
