In todays episode we explore psychedelics as medicine. It’s too easy to accumulate notions of yourself and the world that don’t serve you and that can even make you sick and it takes a guided journey to uncover these things in your conscious and subconscious mind. Psychonautics is the use of entheogen plant medicine and other psychedelics as guides to navigate the depths of your heart and mind with the aim of initiating transformation. For many it is a spiritual experience that opens a person to the less tangible aspects of being human.
Today Chris is talking to Ben. Ben is more than equipped to give us great insight into the world of psychonautics, its benefits and how to navigate this path safely. They discuss, spirituality and psychology, intuition, healing, the entheogens; Kambo (frog poison), Ayahuasca, Sananga, and psilocybin, as well as MDMA.
Ben has established a Church Of Daime with his wife, where they combine the plant medicine, Ayahuasca, with Christian song and prayer. As an extension to his spiritual work, and inspired by the work of the Mankind Project, Ben has created a six month program to help guide men through powerful transformation, to push past boundaries and build trust using men’s work principles and entheogens.
