I’m laying it all out there this week and sharing how alcohol has impacted my life. I spent many years dissociating with daily drinking and now that I’ve stopped, I can see a huge difference in how I feel. I want to deconstruct addiction, if you will, because I know so many people are struggling right now.

In this episode, Alison and I chat about alcohol addiction, how COVID was a factor in increased alcohol consumption, and the pressures we face in social situations to mark everything with a drink. Even if your addiction isn’t alcohol, this episode will still apply to you because the concepts are the same. If there’s something that’s causing you to not want to be present in your daily life, you need to step back and examine that.
