Oh wow, say that five times fast! When we talk about diversity, representation, inclusion, and equity, these are terms that people sometimes use interchangeably but they have distinct and impactful different meanings and outcomes. For example, just because diversity and representation is present in an organization or environment, that doesn’t necessarily mean it is inclusive or equitable. Diversity and representation without equity and inclusion amounts to tokenism and if you see this in your spaces, it’s time to act. Let’s talk about it!
