In this episode, Leah chats with Neuropsychiatrist and Author of the new book, The Upgrade: How the Female Brain Gets Stronger and Better in Midlife and Beyond, by Dr. Louann Brizendine.
Dr Brizendine shares newly emerging information about women in the second half of life: during midlife, women’s brains are actually reshaped and “upgraded” in a way that creates new power, a bracing clarity, and a laser-like sense of purpose. Dr. Brizendine calls this process The Upgrade and argues that, if a woman knows how to step into her power and own her Upgrade, the second half of her life can be the better half.
