In this episode with Charlie, we discuss the definition of sciatica and explore differential diagnoses which can present with a similar presentation to sciatica. He also takes us through what would increase our suspicion of alternative causes of posterior leg pain and when it may be appropriate for us to refer the patient on to further care.

Want to learn more about Sciatica? Charlie recently did a brilliant Masterclass with us, called “Spine-related leg pain: from root causes to treatment strategies” where he goes into further depth on different causes of posterior leg pain.
