In this episode, we will be focusing on our important duties towards Jesus and the Body of Christ. Let's get started;

Our Responsibilities towards Jesus

1. Consider the Commitment : Jesus emphasized in Luke 14;28 how crucial it is to understand the level of dedication required to follow Him. This means being fully prepared for any challenges that may come our way on this journey.

2. Prioritize Him Above All: Luke 14;26 highlights the importance of placing Jesus above all other relationships. It's not about harboring hatred, but rather about showing unwavering devotion that surpasses any other bond.

3. Daily Self Transformation: In Luke 14;27, Jesus calls us to let go of our selfish desires each day and replace them with obedience to His teachings.

Our Responsibilities towards the Body of Christ;

1. Nurture Relationships: As mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 5;11, your role within the church involves fostering meaningful and life-giving connections with others. Invest in building a sense of community and unity.

2. Foster Worship and Prayer: Colossians 3;16 reminds us to create an atmosphere within the church where worship and prayer flourish, thus strengthening our faith and deepening our connection with one another.

3. Serve Generously: In line with 1 Peter 4;10, we are encouraged to serve one another generously by utilizing our unique gifts, resources and abilities—thereby blessing others along the way. 4. Spread the message of Jesus: The significance of passionately sharing the Good News, as witnessed in the Early Church, is emphasized in Mark 16;15.

5.Nurture discipleship: Matthew 28;18 19 presents the Great Commission, urging us to embrace our role as disciples who actively contribute to the spiritual growth of others.

These duties are not burdensome but rather pathways that lead to a purposeful and meaningful life. Let's wholeheartedly embrace these responsibilities to honor Jesus and cultivate a vibrant church community.
