Cornel N. Stanciu, M.D., C.P.E., M.R.O. is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine and the Director of Addiction Services at New Hampshire Hospital. As an Addiction Psychiatrist, Dr. Stanciu is involved in clinical care, research, and policy concerning services and treatments for people with addictive disorders. Throughout his career, Dr. Stanciu has played an active role in academia having published over 40 papers on themes related to addictive disorders, particularly new psychoactive drugs, such as Kratom, and has received multiple awards for excellence in research and clinical care.
