Chris Nowinski is a former football player at Harvard University and professional wrestler with WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment. After enduring a career-ending head injury, Chris has dedicated his professional life to serving patients and families affected by brain trauma, particularly Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that develops after repeated head injuries. This is one of the new ideas that's come out as I've been channeling our new course 'From Fear To Flow.' The conditions of your life have no power to make you feel good or bad. They are always neutral. Conditions trigger beliefs. Most people do not realize the emotions they feel are not generated by outside conditions, they're simply shifts in perspective. When something happens that that makes you feel good, you automatically raise your perspective in response. But when something triggers a limiting belief, you drop your perspective and feel negative emotion. The actual conditions are not responsible for this yo-yo approach to life.
