Jack Thornton has been a mainstay within the Irish Powerlifting Federation for years. He's served many roles; athlete, coach, referee, representing the country both as a lifter and as a handler. Now, all his hard work is being recognised; Jack recently became the Irish Open Team head coach. With this promotion, Jack will be an integral player in how team selection and standards are decided for the next competitive season.
