Bill shares his story of moving from a non-religious background to volunteering in social justice ministries and eventually working with the Jesuits on impact investing. Anne discusses her background in healthcare strategy and how they complement each other's skills in their joint venture, Hatch & Hatch. Anne Hatch & Bill Hatch, CFA are the co-founders of Hatch & Hatch Consulting, a firm dedicated to helping social purpose organizations, including non-profits, faith-based groups, and social enterprises, become better stewards of their resources and deepen their impact. Together, they journey with organizations, guiding them to align their assets with their mission-driven goals.
Bill began his career in finance, focusing on practical solutions to the climate crisis. His work with BW Group in Singapore involved investing in cleantech and energy transition sectors. A spiritual awakening in his late 20s led him to shift toward service, focusing on marginalized communities through parish and retreat ministry in Toronto. Bill holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and is a CFA Charterholder. His volunteer work with the Jesuits of Canada introduced him to impact investing, where he continues to integrate finance and spiritual values, currently via his role as Associate Director at the Catholic Impact Investing Collaborative / Francesco Collaborative.
Anne has held leadership roles at Ontario Health and Cancer Care Ontario, where she led the strategy and planning for the Cancer Screening programs as well as oversaw the quality management of the labs delivering the organized screening programs in Ontario. She holds a bachelor’s degree from York University and brings a wealth of experience in program management, strategy, and operations.
Together, Anne and Bill live in Ontario with their three children, united in their passion for creating a more just and sustainable world.
