Ah, the classic "don't let the door hit you on the way out!" It’s a phrase that oozes finality—but let’s flip it. Instead of a harsh exit, let’s turn it into a opportunity.
Every day is a new door. Today is new opportunity. What faces you today? And what did you face off yesterday?
Today we have a chance. Today we have a chance to step up, step through, and create something better than before.
But here’s the thing: you can’t hesitate. You can’t get stuck holding the door, debating whether to move forward. And you definitely can’t stand there so long that the door ends up hitting you on the way out! Boldness is the key. Step through with purpose. After a long day, the door will shut behind us. Let’s be a people that when the door shuts, it doesn’t slap us in the back… half way finished or with hesitation.
Hesitation is what makes the door swing back and hit you. Fear of what’s on the other side or lack of confidence keeps us stuck. Hesitation and fear are luxuries we can’t afford. What ever doors we step through today, let’s step through them with purpose and energy instead of letting it hit us on the way out!
W.M Lewis has said ”The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.” Yeah! Don’t hesitate today. Stare down that door and blast through it. Opportunity waits. Let’s live today stepping with the confidence & courage that begins with the cadence and determination to be a person that lives our life today on purpose as we seize every opportunity in front of us. Let’s blast through those door and find our way to our pillow tonight with a smile on our faces. Alright. Enough hype. You got this. I believe in you!
