Meet Dr. Peter Laird, Founder and Director of Glenferrie Dental, based in Melbourne, Australia.

A passionate dentist who specialises in replacing missing teeth and creating beautiful smiles. Dr. Peter embarked on his dental career with a clear mission: to help his patients smile genuinely and warmly, straight from the heart.

Understanding the common anxieties associated with dental visits, Dr. Laird is committed to providing a stress-free experience through the latest advancements in Sleep Dentistry. His approach is tailored and personalised, ensuring that each patient receives the utmost care suited to their needs.

Since graduating from the University of Queensland, Dr. Laird has continually sought to learn from leaders in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. He completed a Mini-Residency in Prosthodontics under the esteemed Dr. Tony Rotondo and Dr. Michael Mandikos, which fueled his passion for cosmetic procedures. His pursuit of excellence led him to study under renowned international figures in restorative dentistry, Dr. Jason Smithson (U.K) and Dr. Didier Dietschi (Switzerland).

Dr. Peter further expanded his expertise in Prosthodontics at a specialist practice in Perth, WA where he discovered his second passion—Dental Implants.

He is a graduate of the Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California, placing hundreds of implants annually with a focus on full-arch implants and full-mouth reconstructions.

Merging his love for photography with his dental practice, Dr. Peter is dedicated to achieving the highest level of service and aesthetics in each patient’s smile journey.

When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Laird enjoys capturing sunsets, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
