What Catches God’s Eye…and His Heart? Part 1 - Love 1. GOD MADE YOU TO LOVE YOU “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous” Psalm 139:13, 14 “Yes, you have been with me from birth; from my mother’s womb you have cared for me. No wonder I am always praising you!” Psalm 71:6 God loved a People GOD’S LOVE IS IRRATIONAL AND IT’S UNBREAKABLE There’s nothing you can do to make God love you more. And there’s nothing you can do to make God love you less. 2. GOD SENT JESUS AS THE HIGHEST PROOF OF HIS LOVE FOR YOU “God is love” 1 John 4:8 “For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life.” John 3:16 On your hardest day, you will not doubt the love of God, if you remember what Jesus did for you on the cross. “May you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.” Ephesians 3:18 3. GOD WANTS YOU TO LOVE OTHERS LIKE HE HAS LOVED YOU “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are My disciples.” John 13:35 “The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control.” Galatians 5:22, 23 Good seed, planted in good soil, produces good fruit THE STORY OF GOOD SEED THAT FELL ON GOOD SOIL --Mark 4:3-20
