Positive affirmations can be used for exercise in several ways:
1. Goal setting: Turn your run goals into affirmations. Instead of saying “I want to lose weight,” affirm, “I am achieving my ideal weight and feeling healthier.”
2. Motivation boost: When facing challenges during your run, affirmations can provide motivation. Repeat phrases like “I can push through this” or “I am capable of overcoming obstacles.”
3. Stress reduction: Affirmations can help reduce stress and anxiety associated with exercise. Repeat calming statements like “I am at peace with my pace” or “I release tension with every step.”
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13
