Join us for this 2nd episode in our Living From The Inside Out series. In this podcast we discuss Living From the Inside Out and how it applies to eating, weight and vitality.
Shelby shares a great quote by Mark Twain that he wrote about Joan of Arc, "Her religion (her spiritual inward journey) made her inwardly content and joyous."
It is from this center, this alignment with our Creator/Source/God that we find inner contentment and joy that then shapes our thoughts, which then affects our behavior and the external things of our lives, such as our weight. In our culture we tend to try to work from the OUTSIDE IN, by trying to change our behavior through outward manipulations that bring short term gain and longterm frustration.
We also discuss and share our discoveries of the amazing difference between "vitality" and "weight", with the goal being to eat for vitality and not to manipulate our weight. In fact, the weight will work itself out when we start with the inward journey and then eat for vitality.
Shelby shares the definition of weight - which equals the "heaviness" of a person with the aha moment of realizing that our physical weight often mirrors the emotional weight of our life.
Truly an inspiring discussion that we hope will bring you your own aha moment in the writing of your new story.
