In this podcast episode I sit down with Pastor Jojo Gonzalez from "Ignite City Church" here in Chicago, IL. He shares what it was like growing up in Aurora, IL. back in the 80's and 90's when the gang and drug culture was at it's peak. Drinking and doing drugs was normalized all around him. He was able to stay out of the gangs but gets drawn into the drug dealing lifestyle. While doing all this he begins to experience an inner battle between good and evil, between doing right and doing wrong. One day he goes to visit a cousin of his that had checked himself into a drug treatment center. He shares how he himself was drunk and high at the time and that the men at the treatment center asked if they could pray for him. They did. And his life was never the same after that.
