On this episode, we welcome former Arizona State University star and current Washington Spirit rookie Nicole Douglas. We also hear from Spirit Head Coach Mark Parsons talking about Nicole and her role on the team.
And While we're looking into the future of women’s soccer, we examine a new report by Women's Sports Foundation Head of Research Karen Issokson-Silver.
During her time at Arizona State University, Nicole Douglas turned heads with her goal-scoring talent and ball-handling ability, as she broke the school's all-time goal-scoring record with 60 all-time goals. After being selected 26th overall in the 2023 NWSL College Draft by the Washington Spirit, Nicole is now part of the youthful emergence in the league. The rookie shares her thoughts about coming from her hometown of London and the Chelsea Academy to play college soccer at ASU, your football journey, what the future holds, and more! (21’)
