#1 - Amazon Today: BOPIS - Amazon's Latest Program and Why You Should Care

Amazon Today is what it sounds like, you order your products, and you get them that day. But how is this possible? Amazon Today consists of two parts: Same Day Delivery and BOPIS. For Same Day Delivery, Amazon will contract drivers (in a Prius, for example, not a big Amazon tagged van) to pick up and deliver to the customer in YOUR company packaging. It’s a great way to increase visibility to your brand, and make use of the millions of shoppers on Amazon.
BOPIS is similar but better for your stores. It allows the customer to order a product from your Amazon Store, waltz into your nearest physical store location, and pick it up. So, like Same Day Delivery, you get increased visibility by being on Amazon AND some extra foot traffic!
