Sounds like they beat Elon to mind control a long time ago. (No offense Elon, but DO turn my @diggingdeepertv account back on please)
Neuralink is not new. There is a long history of implanting microchips. Think about your pets, they are microchipped. And now I have a watch that reads every bodily function, reports it to the cloud. The bonus there is that I help found a company that helps people get paid in cryptocurrency every day just for wearing the device.
The big fear is TRANSHUMANISM, but fortunately, Elon is FOR the humans, unlike his AI counterpart at Google, Larry Page, who is gain-of-function-crazy despite all humanity, in on AI.
If Elon is for the humans, we can only hope that this new amazing discovery can be used to help people in a good and meaningful way.
We'll see.
