The Labor Day Weekend Show is Louisville's Jimmy Buffett Tribute Festival. It will take place on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1. Among the artists taking part in the festivities will be Doyle Grisham, the steel pedal guitar player for the Coral Reefer Band. Growing up in Texas, Grisham began playing in bands with professional musicians at the age of 15. He has appeared on many classic country albums, working with the likes of Randy Travis, Reba McIntyre, Dicky Lee, and Kenny Rogers to name a few. He is also a member of the Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame.
Grisham's connection to Jimmy Buffet dates back to 1974. He started in the studio playing on albums, began making a few appearances at live shows, and eventually become a full-time member of the Coral Reefer Band.
