We’re not going to talk about how long it took me to get around to doing shownotes. No we are not.
I love learning more about my personality. It’s kind of an obsession. So I really loved taking the myres-briggs personality test. If you’re curious, I am an ENTJ.
Kati and I were chock full of new music to listen to. One song with both love is Get Lucky by Daft Punk. Another song I’ve been listening to a lot is Gone, Gone, Gone by Phillip Phillips. We also enjoy Blurred Lines, but be advised….the lyrics are, shall we say, interesting.
As for myself, I’ve enjoyed rediscovering the lovely band Acceptance. They’re a throwback from my 5th and 6th grade years, but their album Phantoms is like comfort food, but music. Comfort music. That’s a thing, right? It’s rock. It’s addicting. You can sing along. You can dance along. What’s not to love? Hanson is a new discovery for me, but the band itself has been around for a while. Every song is good, but if you’re new to listening, I recommend Juliet. Another new find is this lovely band called The Cab. I think it’s impossible not to love their song Endlessly. I dare you not to like it.
Also, I’ve been reading Gift From The Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Fun fact, my older sister, Reeve, was named after her daughter.
Kati has been reading The Picture Of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. I love Oscar Wilde. I also love Kati. I’m convinced the book must be good, therefore. She also enjoys the music of Brad Kavanagh. She recommends that you watch this video of him singing. I’ve seen it. It’s good. She also likes his song Always The Quiet Ones.
Look! It’s more Dr. Who stuff! I never no how to introduce these items because I feel like just trying to understand the general plot line of the show is about all I can cope with. However, if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times: if Kati likes it, it must be good. (Aside from that phase in her life where she really liked the Powerpuff Girls. I think we’d both like to pretend that never happened.)
