What do we mean when we say "fatigue"? What roll does that play in designing a plan or managing peformance? What do YOU need to know about it as an athlete? Today we're picking apart a frequently misunderstood component of cycling training & performance analysis: Training Stress Balance (or TSB). This is one of the primary elements of the Performance Management Chart (or PMC) and it plays a major role in how we put quantified stress into context for a particular athlete (or yourself!) so we can anticipate and predict the level of fatigue for a given week, workout, race, etc.
Additionally, summer temperatures are already in full effect for many of our listeners and family. This will inevitably impact performance. Listen to the end for our tips and strategies to combat heat and improve performance in the summer months.
