With renting becoming more of a lifestyle choice as well as a necessity for some, it's time that we started to build better relationships between the landlord, agents and tenants. Landlords are not to be feared in fact over 70% of landlords in Australia are mum and dad investors. Agents want good tenants for their landlords, but tenants are often left feeling like they're the least important part of the equation.

To help me better understand the relationship between the landlord, agent and tenant is Jo Natoli, founder of The Rental Specialist in Sydney. The Rental Specialist is an agency that only services the rental property market. Jo has some interesting ideas on how the real estate industry needs to separate the rental market from the buying/selling market.
