If you know a child with ASD who presents with restrictive, repetitive behaviors (RRBs), this is the episode for you. The impact of RRBs may be best described by Harvard medical researcher Ya Wen who refers to restrictive, repetitive behaviors as having a "Russian doll" impact in which observable physical and social changes are also present at the neurological and cellular level. This episode not only tackles the pervasive impact of RRBs on children with ASD, but also what can be done to create lifelong change through Task-Oriented-Movement (TOM) intervention.
