This week on the Niche Cast we start with a few of our favourite stinky Blackcaps nuggets after another Test loss vs England and in New Zealand. Then we chat through a few Kiwi-NRL updates like Lennix Tovo training with Rabbitohs and NZ Warriors storylines such as the young wave, Tohu Harris' role and replacing Shaun Johnson's kicking/Addin Fonua-Blake's run metres. NZ Breakers keep losing but Melbourne United are the best NBL team and have hearty kiwis in Rob Loe, Shea Ili and Flynn Cameron. Auckland FC won the A-League derby vs Wellington Phoenix which means we have plenty to discuss with notes about playing styles, Kosta Barbarouses and the temple of Mt Smart. We finish with more complaining about Blackcaps, because, well they deserve it.
