One of my best friends used to struggle with drug addiction.
She spent a week in the psych ward. She dropped out of high school. She oftentimes woke up in strange places she shouldn't have found herself in. She spent time with people who didn't have her best interests at heart.
But that's not who she is anymore.
Today, my best friend is one of the most unique people you'll ever come across. Wise beyond her years, kind beyond the norm, and beautiful beyond belief, she is a straight up bad bitch.
And she also happens to be one of my closest friends in the world.
