In 2013, Wannes wanted to create a crossdressed version of a Vocaloid female character because he was obsessed with her. His lack of cosplay expertise, however, made it difficult for him to locate the costume, so he would look for clothing that closely resembled the character. A year later, when Wannes received a taste of one of Belgium's largest cosplay events, everything changed for him.
