Turmali is a perfect mystical world, set high in the sky and is made up of seven lands. The lands are connected by Rainbow Bridges that are powered by Tourmaline Gemstones. The people of Turmali travel between the lands by crossing the Rainbow Bridges. Their perfect world is shattered when alien invaders arrive to steal away the Tourmaline stones, the Rainbow Bridges lose their power and disappear leaving the seven lands and the people on them isolated. 12 children from different countries on Earth are brought to Turmali in an effort to help defeat the alien invaders, ‘The Light Killers’.
