We are back with season 2 of The Awesome Black Dads Show. In this episode, we talk to Carnell Smith Sr. who was recently release from Federal prison. Carnell was incarcerated for intent to traffic illegal drugs at a time when he had made the decision to step out of the life for the sake and well being of his family. After 17 1/2 years of incarceration, Carnell was released due to the provisions of the Clemency project an President Obama initiative dedicated to releasing non-violent offenders. Today we will explore Carnell's introduction to the game, why he got involved, his untimely incarceration and his road to redemption.
