Episode 182: FOOD FOR THE SOUL Part 1 - The Epidemic of Internal Soul Cravings
Manage episode 404724042 series 2363961
The enemy will do everything he can to try to persuade you from seeking true satisfaction for your soul by offering things that won’t ever satisfy you. They LOOK like they could, and they have a sweet aroma to them. But it won’t satisfy your internal craving. Maybe for you, it’s romantic partners. Maybe it’s the acceptance of others, or maybe it’s how many followers you have on social media. But whatever it is, there is a deeper root to the manifestation of your craving. And His name is Jesus.
Monologue: Autumn praises her son for his servant’s heart when Autumn and her two oldest kids visited Liberty University.
Message: Autumn begins a new series about the difference between trying to fill our internal cravings with what we think we need and God satisfying our cravings.
Question: “I feel guilty for wanting to rest while I am fasting. Is this wrong?”
Praise Report: A listener shares how God filled them with His peace once they followed where God was taking them after struggling as a recovering addict in different rehab programs that didn’t work for them.
Bible References:
Matthew 14:13-21
Deuteronomy 29:1-7
Joshua 5:9-12
