Welcome to Talking Tunes by Girls Are Awesome where we deconstruct female music artists and the processes around one specific song. Talking Tunes is hosted by producer and songwriter Vakle.

This episode is the third out of four Roskilde Festival special episodes and is centered around Danish singer, songwriter and pedal player - as she says herself, ZAAR. We sat down with her a couple of days after her very first time playing Roskilde Festival. Pouring rain and cold Danish weather is the setting as we sit outside talking about everything from writing alone and with bandmates, creating the right physical environment to be creative, how to sing through guitar pedals and a lot more.
