If ever two bands were pitted against each other by the media and fans alike it was The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. In his first podcast Beatles fan Steve Sahl-Taylor takes to the ring against Rolling Stones fan Will Lynch. They both reveal their top 10 songs and give a one minute pitch to sell their favourite band. May the best fan win!
Also in this episode Steve reviews the re-released 1962-1966 and 1967-1970 compilation albums and gives his reaction to the recent Now and Then release.
Beatles Vs. Stones top 10 playlist
Steve Sahl-Taylor was a professional musician, singer and songwriter for 25 years. He started singing in bands in South Wales before taking a long term residency in Spain. A further residency in Croatia followed before he moved to Devon in South West England. Here he started writing songs for his first album. The album Hello World was signed to US label ACM Records and was released in 2006.
He continued touring throughout Europe with 12 tours to Scandinavia and many gigs in London.
He is now a music teacher based in London.
