-- Competed against many of the outstanding jockeys of the era on a national and international stage.
-- Competed at 52 different racetracks while winning major races at Santa Anita Park, Hollywood Park, Del Mar, Keeneland, Ak-Sar-Ben, Golden Gate Fields, Emerald Downs, and Bay Meadows.
-- Entrusted with mounts trained by a number of Hall of Famers, including Charlie Whittingham, D. Wayne Lukas, Bob Baffert, and Jack Van Berg for such influential patrons as Reba McEntire, Mace Siegel, John Nerud, Mike Pegram, Eugene V. Klein, Allen Paulson, and Robert Lewis.
-- Rode under private contract to member of Saudi royal family at Riyadh Race Course (2000).
-- Served apprenticeship under Hall of Fame jockey and Kentucky Derby winning trainer John Longden.
