Steve King and Johnnie Putman hop in to the final stretch of 2024 with some iconic hometown heroes and some post Thanksgiving leftovers!

Kicking off the show, we have members of The Ides of March, bassist Bob Bergland and drummer Mike Borch in studio to talk about some major updates for the Ides and we learn some fantastic stories from the early days of their adventures with Jim Peterik and the rest of the band. They will also be at The Arcada Theatre on Sunday, December 8, tickets can be purchased at oshows.com!

Esteemed Chicago Author Neal Samors joins the show to promote Looking Back/Looking Forward: How Chicago Helped Shape and Build Careers Over the Decades, his latest work featuring interviews with Chicago’s most prolific professionals in various industries, one of which is WGN Radio’s own late legend Dick Biondi.

Then we get up to speed with Consumer Guide Automotive‘s Publisher Tom Appel on tons of new test drives and recalls, plus we get to tackle some listener questions!
