Courtney Boyd Meyers is an entrepreneur, environmentalist, and writer. But, there came a point when she couldn't “sit back and watch the world burn”. Lucky for the world, she co-founded AKUA, a Brooklyn-based company creating plant-based foods from locally sourced and regeneratively ocean-farmed kelp—and home of “the world’s first Kelp Burger”.
