In this episode we are going to speak with Liza Lovett. She is a Christian speaker, author and founder of The Warriors Community. She was involved in a Christian cult for 6 years and now, she helps people who have experienced religious abuse find healing in their relationship with God instead of deconstructing their faith by sharing the truth, freedom and love of God. She has been to over 25 countries doing mission work, mostly with women who were abused or trafficked. She has served with a non-profit for trafficked or exploited women - in different capacities for three years. She speaks at churches, conferences, small groups, and other events about awareness of cultish environments, what your rights are, but most of all about processing and healing in partnership with God. She has published a short story called Whispers of the Lake - based on a true story of a woman tormented by memories of past abuse. After contemplating suicide, she has a God encounter that changes her life. You don't want to miss this interview.
