This message addresses the battle between the soul and the Spirit when it comes to our faith over unbelief. There are times when we believe God and His word, yet there is this sense of reservation that looms in an area of our heart that interferes with our faith. What is that? More often than not, it's our soul taking control over our Born- again Spirit where faith resides. The moment we accept Jesus Christ as Savior, we have the faith of God in dwelling our spirit. However, our soul which is our mind, will and emotions can override that faith because of what we see, hear, feel and our emotions; especially regarding situations that have been occurring over time. The remedy to this is prayer and fasting. Our scripture references are found in Mark 9:14-29 where we see the powerless disciples and the mighty Christ in operation.
