Hola Familia! Alex Wait, the producer of SHPE Out Loud, is back in front of the mic to present the eighth episode of our compelling "50 Stories for 50 Years" series. Today's guest is none other than Melanie Weber, the Vice Chair of SHPE’s National Board of Directors and Flight Operations Engineer at Blue Origin.
Recorded during last year's SHPE Convention, Melanie's commitment and passion shine through as she shares her remarkable journey. From a young Texan inspired by a Johnson Space Center field trip and the movie "Apollo 13," Melanie pursued Aerospace Engineering, spending nearly 15 years at Boeing before joining Blue Origin.
