Sometimes ppl describe me as the "Happiest person they've ever met".When I was 21 I decided that I did not want to be here. I then set myself a challenge of 365 days to feel better. After that 365 days was up, I did not feel better aha but I said to myself welllp you did 1-year let's go another. So I then went about trying basically every cliche thing for happiness & applying this to ma life. Happiness is a personal responsibility & something that has to be actively worked on every single day of ur life by intercepting your thoughts & making a conscious effort to choose happiness ( in my opinion & experience. ) Depression is the lowest & it comes & goes. [ Of course, there are those with chemical imbalances etc which I wouldn't ever try comment on, I'm just talking to the general.] Having depression & anxiety is normal. We just gotta learn some tools to avoid staying there longer than we have to. Just like muscle memory in the gym the constant repetition of all these techniques to try & make myself be happy, eventually, lead to my " base " level of feeling & what I revert to at my saddest, being the tiniest bit happier then what It used to be & we forever work on this. I hope maybe this podcast can help some people think of a couple things that maybe they havn't when it comes to controlling their lonely sections of we tend to create in our own minds. All this is simple as & why it's often overlooked & not done, I won't be speaking of anything you havn't heard before aha. This is also just my opinion based on my experience - I don't knowthis is just what worked for meeee. Much love xoxo
